Q: What is Streetmosphere?
A: Streetmosphere, Beet Street’s signature cultural program, transforms Fort Collins into a spontaneous, outdoor performing arts festival all summer long. Streetmosphere provides high quality, free performances that boasts civic pride for our local, creative talent. In 2010 and 2011, Streetmosphere auditioned and hired more than 100 local acts including classical, jazz, country, bluegrass, and pop singers, musicians and bands; dancers, actors, comedians, jugglers, magicians, painters, weavers, and even a cowboy poet. Attendance and excitement about Streetmosphere has grown exponentially - in 2010, 60,000 people stopped and watched performances; in 2011, more than 120,000 residents and visitors participated. Downtown businesses report that the vibrant activity of Streetmosphere has increased foot traffic and sales.

Q: Where can I find a listing of performances?
A: Please see the schedule page for a listing of the upcoming 2 weeks of performances! Beet Street wants downtown visitors to “Expect Surprise Around Every Corner”, so come down to find all of the acts. You can use the map below to help you. Be sure to look for the Streetmosphere 15 foot banners and A-frame signs which identify a Streetmosphere location. So go out, discover a variety of talents each weekend, you could see up to 20 different acts each weekend!

A: The talent selected for Streetmosphere are auditioned and paid. See the “Get to Know” section below to find out more about the performers you’ll see!
Q: Where are the performance locations?
A: We have provided a map of the Streetmosphere locations to help you find all of the performances. Locations are subject to change and each weekend different locations may be used.
